Mission Statement:
While wandering through the trails of life, leave your footprints along the way. I created Honeysuckle Footprints to help others & myself see the beauty in life & see God’s blessings even in the hardest of time. It is my sincere hope God blesses you as much as he’s blessed me through this blog.
About me – I’m a southern gal. I love crafting, DIY, fishing, hunting, camping, and just about anything outdoors. I’m a 29 year old busy mama, wife, daughter, full-time project manager for a commercial door and hardware business, & most of all a child of The King!
I started blogging after following a post from Pinterest. I have always enjoyed crafting and sharing my ideas, so why not share it with the world? It’s my hope and desire to encourage and inspire others to be creative & enjoy doing it! Everyone has some type of creative abilities you’ve just got to trust yourself and believe you can do it!
Jesus Christ entered my heart on March 21st 2009!! I am proud to say I am a child of The King!! “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
I am the mother to an amazing little fella.
He is pretty much the reason my heart beats. My entire world revolves around this little soul. He’s a fun and energetic 10 year old. I absolutely LOVE crafting and making things for him! I think crafting is my love language!!

I married this handsome hunk when I was a kid, 18 years young! He stole my heart! I sure do love my Southern man! He’s a hardworking family man who has sacrificed a lot for the good of his family. He’s got a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He’s a True southern gentleman 😉
As a former Veterinary Technician and being the daughter of a farmer, you know I LOVE animals!
These are our two furbabies. Adelaide & Copenhagen. They ARE a part of our family <3. Adelaide is an energetic 6 year old Yellow Lab (with American Bulldog in her bloodlines) & Copenhagen is a Border Collie Mix (we think). We adopted them both as puppies after praying that God lead us to the furbabies He wanted us to adopt. We also have 2 standard donkeys, 5 Boer Goats, and a cat!!
I also love the passion of photography. I have photographed weddings, engagements, events, maternity sessions, children, and more! Looking at life through a lens and snapping precious moments frozen in time is a treasure!!!
It is my sincere hope that something from my blog & about me has left footprints in your life. Whether it be a story I’ve told or a creative post or whatever it may be. I hope my posts can encourage, inspire, and empower.
