DIY “Do It Yourself” Spray Painted Mason Jars

Want a simple but cute country decor idea that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg?

Country Sunflower DIY Mason Jars Vases

Spray paint your unused mason jars for a touch of country in your home. These make adorable flower vases!

I made these several years ago & I’ve used them SO much!

They can be used at home, weddings, baby showers, anything!

On my table outside (you want to spray paint in a well ventilated area), I used newspaper to cover the table. I used a spray paint that has a paint and primer mixed in. This is important to me because I use spray paint a lot. Most of my crafts include it and I want to get a good, full cover. When you spray paint you want to go in one direction. If you cake the spray paint on, it will run and look terrible! I do one spray in one direction and repeat until the entire mason jar is covered evenly in spray paint. You want to let these dry for about half a day to make sure they’re ready to be handled. If not, you’ll have finger prints and smudges all over them.
