One of our many Elf on the Shelf traditions is our Elf on the Shelf Goodbye Letters. The night before Christmas Eve our elf brings a letter. In this letter Santa will lift his magic for only 5 minutes after reading the letter. When Santa lifts his magic, Hunter can touch the elf, hug the elf, and kiss the elf.
