 Kindergarten Graduation.
Such an emotional event, at least for this mama.
Every birthday and every milestone event, like kindergarten graduation, I get very emotional.
Like – bring on the water-works – emotional
To me it just means that my baby ain’t so much baby any more đ
To get my mind off things, I craft.
Kindergarten Graduation is SPECIAL.
I wanted to make goody bags for the class to let all the kids know they did a great job!
This is important to me because the more I volunteer and visit his school, the more I see children who their parents don’t show special interests in their accomplishments.
It breaks my heart, every child deserves to know they’re special and cared about!
I am a cheapie so everything I do is on a small budget. I bought labels at the dollar store and put Smarties in the bag with a note that said “Congratulations! You did it smartie pants!”. I added pencils and bubbles from the dollar store. Super cheap gift. I could have made the labels myself and they would have been much cuter, but I procrastinated on this little project.
His classmates LOVED them!
My child has a shirt for just about every holiday and event so this major event wasn’t any exception đ
I adore personalized stuff. Ask my husband, hehe.
This shirt was very time consuming but I LOVE IT!!! It really turned out better than I had imagined.
On the back I put his graduating class.
This shirt is such a special keepsake!!!!
I can just imagine my grandchildren looking back on this shirt. *sniffle*
I also handpainted a banner on huge paper for a photo shoot with family after his graduation
As always Hunter thought the goody bags, the shirt, and the banner were awesome! He got so many compliments on the shirt and his classmates thanked him for the goody bags!
If I’ve inspired you by my ideas, please leave a comment and let me know! I love hearing from readers!
